Job summary

Truno Retail Technology Solutions is seeking a Deli Clerk/Cook to deliver high-quality food service in a fast-paced setting. You will report to the Deli Manager and use your POS, cash handling, and food-handling skills to support daily operations and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing transactions, preparing items safely, keeping the deli area clean, and assisting with inventory and setup of baked goods and equipment throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Cook experience preferred.
• Standing for long periods and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly manner.
• Operate the POS system for transactions and cash handling.
• Prepare and serve food items per health and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area per sanitation rules.
• Manage time to meet customer demand during peak hours.
• Assist in inventory management and restocking as needed.
• Set up baked goods, operate mixers, ovens, scales, and slicers; display products; handle payments.
