Job summary

NEXDINE Hospitality is hiring a Deli/Salad Cook to prepare sandwiches, salads, and desserts for students and faculty at our dining operations in Tewksbury, MA. This hands-on role emphasizes speed, accuracy, and friendly service in a busy cafe setting.

The candidate will assist in kitchen cleaning, stocking stations, and supporting culinary staff across multiple stations while upholding safety and sanitation standards. This is a full-time, in-house position with potential for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 - 3 years' experience in a similar deli position.
• Must be dependable, neat, clean, professional and have excellent customer service skills.
• - THIS IS A FRONT AND BACK OF THE HOUSE POSITION

Responsibilities

• Preparing daily meals including made-to-order deli/salad items.
• Chopping and slicing meats, cheese and vegetables, cooking, making sandwiches and grab-and-go items.
• Stock stations with items needed for service and ensure cleanliness.
• Provide excellent customer service: attentive, approachable, greeting and thanking customers.
• Operate and sanitize all equipment safely.
• Support culinary staff at various stations as needed.
• Adhere to safety, food handling, sanitation, and productivity standards.
