Job summary

SpartanNash in South Bend, IN is hiring for a Deli Associate to prepare, package, and display deli products, contributing to store profitability and guest satisfaction.

You will stock, label, and rotate deli items, collaborate across departments, and follow safety and guest experience guidelines. High school diploma preferred; retail experience welcomed; ability to read and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and Produce Deli Products to Production Planner.
• Package and Label Deli Products per program plan.
• Merchandise Deli Products per Flight plan/Merchandising Expectations.
• Stock Backroom with Deli Products – Rotating and Dating Cases/Buckets.
• Work with other departments and stores to drive growth.
• Notify the Deli Manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Understand basic arithmetic: adding, subtracting, multiplying and division.
• Communicate tasks, recipes, weights, and cleaning steps to others.
