Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a Deli Associate to independently prepare and stock deli products, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. You will work to meet guest experience guidelines while collaborating with store teams to support growth in SpartanNash Retail stores.

Responsibilities include producing deli items per plan, labeling and stocking, and following PPE and cleaning protocols. A high school diploma is preferred and prior retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills for inventory and recipe calculations.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and interpret documents related to procedures and safety.
• Detail-oriented approach to labeling, dating, stocking and product rotation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce deli products according to production planner.
• Package and label deli products per program plan.
• Merchandise deli products according to flight plan and merchandising expectations.
• Stock backroom with deli products, rotating and dating cases.
