Job summary

SpartanNash in Michigan is seeking a Deli Associate to prepare, fry, package, display and stock deli products, and support guest experience and safety guidelines in our store.

You'll work with team members to meet merchandising plans, follow PPE and food safety standards, and assist with ordering supplies as needed. A high school diploma and at least one year of retail experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is essential for accuracy in merchandising and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce deli products according to program plans.
• Package and label deli items; merchandise per flight plan.
• Stock backroom with deli products; rotate and date items.
• Coordinate with store team to meet merchandising goals.
• Follow PPE, safety and food safety guidelines; communicate needs to the deli manager.
