Job summary

Hannaford Supermarkets in Franklin, NH, seeks a Department Manager for Store 08318 to lead operations, merchandising and customer service. You will hire, train and develop associates, meet financial objectives and model exceptional service for customers and staff.

You will ensure store appearance, safety, food safety and accurate records while using company tools to manage for performance and shrink control. This role requires leadership and a commitment to our culture.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of store operations and total store merchandising techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Desire and ability to lead and manage associates.
• Must be accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or obtain accreditation within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive and inclusive environment to retain associates and customers.
• Ensure that all quality standards are met and departments operate per standard practices.
• Hire, train and develop associates to meet department needs and attain departmental financial objectives.
• Maintain the department's appearance and presentation and ensure accurate records of production, shrink, sales and inventory.
