Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with 2 years of supervisory experience and 2 years of deli department experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to give and receive direction.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Maintain Food Safety certification and adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage and merchandise the deli department for productivity and profit.
• Order and manage inventory controls; ensure product quality.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning and teamwork.
• Lead a team to deliver high-quality products and excellent customer service.
• Coach and evaluate team members; conduct bi-annual performance reviews.
• Recruit, hire, and collaborate with Store Manager on promotions and staffing.
• Maintain schedules and staffing levels to maximize productivity.
