Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Deli Manager to lead one of our busiest departments, ensuring exceptional customer service and product quality. You will oversee scheduling, inventory controls, and daily operations to drive productivity and profitability while coaching team members for growth.

The role requires strong leadership, food safety certification, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced, health-conscious store environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old with 2 years supervisory experience and 2 years deli experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with customers and team.
• Food Safety certification and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and merchandise the department for productivity and profit.
• Order, receive, and manage inventory and product quality.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning and teamwork.
• Lead a team delivering quality products and high levels of service.
• Recruit, hire, promote and develop team members; conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation guidelines are followed.
• Schedule staff to maintain productivity and staffing levels.
• Operate deli equipment and maintain gear.
• Serve as a Key Carrier / Manager on Duty as needed.
