Job summary

You will maintain sanitation, manage stock, coordinate merchandising, and support sales and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced retail/wholesale environment. The role requires strong leadership, organization, and knowledge of food safety standards; on-site work with varying schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in deli, food service, retail, or warehouse operations.
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and product handling.
• Experience leading or managing a team.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily deli operations to ensure product availability, quality, and presentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory through proper stock rotation, replenishment, and monitoring of product levels.
• Ensure all deli products are handled, prepared, and stored in accordance with company and food safety standards.
• Monitor product quality and freshness, ensuring timely removal or disposition of unsellable items.
• Supervise and manage department staff to ensure adherence to company procedures and performance expectations.
• Coordinate merchandising, signage, and product displays to support sales and customer engagement.
• Review inventory trends, shrink, and discrepancies to identify and address concerns.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal audit standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation throughout the deli department.
