Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a Deli Manager to oversee all deli department operations, including safety, inventory, merchandising, and team performance. The role ensures high product quality and freshness while supporting sales and customer satisfaction.

The Deli Manager will supervise staff, maintain strict food safety standards, and coordinate displays and promotions to drive merchandise engagement. Experience in deli, food service, or retail operations and strong organizational skills

Qualifications

• Experience in deli, food service, retail, or warehouse operations.
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and product handling.
• Experience leading or managing a team.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Basic proficiency in Excel or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily deli operations to ensure product availability, quality, and presentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory through stock rotation, replenishment, and monitoring of product levels.
• Ensure all deli products are handled, prepared, and stored per food safety standards.
• Monitor product quality and freshness; remove or dispose of unsellable items as needed.
• Supervise and manage department staff to ensure adherence to procedures and performance expectations.
• Coordinate merchandising, signage, and product displays to support sales and engagement.
• Review inventory trends, shrink, and discrepancies to address concerns.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal audits.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation throughout the deli department.
