Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old with 2+ years supervisory deli/food service experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to take and give direction in a team.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude for customer interactions.
• Proven leadership to motivate and maintain staff with knowledge of reports and goals.
• Detail oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Food Safety certification and knowledge of regs for product safety, sanitation.
• Able to prioritize, plan and handle multiple tasks.
• Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs and standing long shifts; operate deli equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Deli Manager in managing the department for productivity and profitability.
• Supervise Deli team, responsible for ordering, inventory and product quality.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning and teamwork.
• Assist in leading a team to deliver highest quality product and customer experience.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing the Deli staff.
• Unload deliveries, operate and maintain deli equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
