Job summary

Restaurant Depot in Avon, MA, is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to support the Deli Manager in day-to-day operations. The role focuses on ensuring freshness, driving sales, and maintaining compliance with HACCP policies.

You will lead a team, provide excellent customer service, and manage inventory while upholding safety standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is a full-time hourly position with 8–10 hour shifts, including overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment per OSHA guidelines.
• Follow HACCP and freshness policies.
• Assist with product presentation, rotation, labeling and replenishment.
• Maintain in-stock positions and monitor inventory through cycle counts.
• Gain strong product knowledge and operational execution.
• Ensure compliance with department procedures and audits.
• Utilize selling skills to increase sales and reduce shrink.
• Plan shift duties and maintain cleanliness.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, and scheduling.
