Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a Deli Manager to oversee the entire deli department, ensuring product quality, safety, and presentation while driving sales and customer satisfaction. You will lead a team, manage inventory, and maintain high standards across operations.

The role requires strong knowledge of food safety, experience managing staff, and the ability to multitask in a busy retail/warehouse environment. This position offers a full-time schedule with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in deli, food service, retail, or warehouse operations.
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and product handling.
• Experience leading or managing a team.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily deli operations to ensure product availability, quality, and presentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory through proper stock rotation, replenishment, and monitoring of product levels.
• Ensure all deli products are handled, prepared, and stored in accordance with company and food safety standards.
• Monitor product quality and freshness, ensuring timely removal or disposition of unsellable items.
• Supervise and manage department staff to ensure adherence to company procedures and performance expectations.
• Coordinate merchandising, signage, and product displays to support sales and customer engagement.
• Review inventory trends, shrink, and discrepancies to identify and address concerns.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal audit standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation throughout the deli department.
