Job summary

Refuel Operating Company, LLC is seeking a Deli Assistant Manager to lead deli operations, ensure food safety, and uphold our service standards at the Hamlet location. You will train and supervise team members, manage inventory and costs, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment while delivering guests fresh, high-quality products.

This role requires flexibility to cover evenings and weekends and a hands-on approach to building a teamwork-driven store.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, food service, or customer service experience.
• On-the-job training is provided for all new team members.
• Must be able to stand during the entire work shift.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Support daily deli operations, ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Train, coach, and supervise team members to deliver quality products and guest service.
• Oversee food preparation, product presentation, and inventory control to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
• Manage ordering, vendor deliveries, and cost controls to achieve financial goals.
• Maintain clean, safe, and efficient work areas, including regular equipment and display inspections.
• Foster a positive, team-focused environment and support scheduling and staffing needs.
• Perform additional duties as required to ensure smooth deli operations and guest satisfaction.
• Adhere to the Company’s established policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
