Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a Deli Manager to supervise the deli department, ensure guest service excellence, merchandise compliance and operational standards across the team. You will monitor budgets, inventory and labor scheduling to drive profitable results and maintain high quality product safety.

The role requires leadership, strong communication and the ability to train and develop staff while maintaining a positive guest experience in a fast-paced supermarket setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service from the deli department staff.
• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink and profits for the deli department.
• Maintain desired level of inventory and supplies.
• Operate the department according to merchandising and operational guidelines and programs.
• Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to Lowes Foods standards.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training and feedback to ensure deli department hosts achieve satisfactory performance standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and guest service as necessary to achieve standards.
• Maintain department’s labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Performs PA announcements.
