DELI/LEAD CLERK (Finance)



Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Achieve sales and profit goals established for the department, and monitor and control all established quality assurance standards. Direct and supervise all functions, duties, and activities for the Deli department. Support the day-to-day functions of the Deli operations. Embrace the Customer 1st strategy and encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic math
  • Ability to handle stressful situations

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Management experience
  • Retail experience
  • Deli experience

  • Promoting trust and respect among associates

  • Educating associates on promotions and advertisements
  • Assisting in budgeting, profit and loss reviews, and inventory planning
  • Training staff on inventory management and ordering systems
  • Adhering to food safety and temperature regulations
  • Maintaining safety procedures and reporting hazards
  • Performing equipment inspections and maintenance
  • Reporting safety incidents and risks
  • Performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations
