DELI/LEAD CLERK (Finance)

Direct and supervise all functions, duties, and activities for the Deli department. Support the day-to-day operations of the Deli. Minimum Qualifications

- Slice deli meats and cheeses as per customer requests using proper equipment
- Offer product samples and inform customers of deli specials
- Provide customers with fresh products and correct portions to prevent shrinkage
- Recommend deli items to customers based on their needs
- Operate deli equipment according to guidelines
- Prepare foods following safety and quality standards
- Stay informed about current and upcoming promotions
- Assist in budgeting, profit and loss reviews, and inventory management
- Train staff on inventory procedures and computer ordering systems
- Follow all food safety regulations and maintain proper temperature logs
- Ensure safety procedures are followed and report unsafe conditions
- Perform equipment inspections and notify management of repairs
- Report accidents, safety risks, and illegal activities
