Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Supervisor/ Deli Lead to direct all deli and food service department activities. You will supervise personnel, onboard and coach new team members, and schedule staff to meet merchandising and guest service goals.

The role requires lifting up to 25 pounds, adherence to safety guidelines, and experience in a fresh foods environment. Serv-Safe certification is preferred, with opportunities for growth within a Fortune 500 company.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
2 years of experience in a fresh foods environment.
Serv-Safe certification preferred.
Must have reliable transportation.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Direct department personnel to meet goals and communicate with store management and supervisors.
On-board and coach new team members; schedule team members.
Take guest orders and ensure timely completion to guest satisfaction.
Maintain food safety and sanitation guidelines and policies.
Order products and supplies to maintain stock and merchandising standards.
Oversee deli/food service prep and merchandising, including meals, pizzas, salads, soups, and beverages.
Rotate items and monitor pricing, signage and shelf tags.
Receive merchandise, audit invoices, count inventory, and complete paperwork.
Process cash transactions with accuracy; use scale printer for pricing accuracy.
Keep work areas clean and safe; ensure proper safety equipment usage.
