Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Associate/Deli Clerk to manage the deli and food service daily operations, ensuring sanitation, attractive store appearance, and guest service.

Responsibilities include working the cash register, learning POS systems, preparing and stocking deli items, and maintaining product quality and safety while supporting the team. Must be 16+, with weekend/evening flexibility; Serv-Safe is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and/or evenings.
• Must have 2 years foodservice or retail management.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Process cash register transactions, giving back change and refunds.
• Learn to use register, scales, scanners and debit/credit terminals.
• Prepare, wrap, weigh, slice, and stock deli/food service products.
• Maintain sanitation and store appearance; support guest service.
• Display products according to guidelines and age-appropriate safety rules.
