Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Associate/Deli Clerk to manage the deli and food service daily operations. You will ensure sanitation, guest service, and store appearance while handling cash and assisting customers.

Responsibilities include using registers, weighing items, preparing deli products, and maintaining safe, clean, and organized work areas. Minimum age 16 with flexible scheduling; ServSafe preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Must have 2 years foodservice or retail management experience.
• Reliable transportation and an active driver’s license.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in walk-in coolers/freezers.

Responsibilities

• Process cash register transactions, give back change and refunds.
• Learn to use register, scales, scanners and debit/credit terminals.
• Read UPC codes, product labels, shelf signage, and posted policies.
• Prepare, wrap, weigh, slice and stock deli/food service products.
• Cook deli items and prepare meals, salads, beverages, and snacks.
• Handle sharp tools safely around slicers, ovens and fryers.
• Take guest orders and ensure timely completion to guest satisfaction.
• Display products according to guidelines and maintain clean work areas.
• Assist with other duties assigned by Store Manager.
