Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Associate/Deli Clerk to manage the deli and food service daily operations, ensure sanitation, maintain store appearance, and provide guest service. You will handle cash transactions, operate the register, scales, scanners, and terminals, and assist with deli preparation and stocking.

This role requires flexibility to work weekends/evenings. Prior foodservice or retail experience is valued; Serv-Safe certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
• Must have 2 years foodservice or retail management.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Work in walk-in coolers and freezers.

Responsibilities

• Process cash register transactions and handle refunds.
• Learn to use register, scales, scanners and debit/credit terminals.
• Prepare, wrap, weigh, slice, and stock deli/food service products.
• Prepare and cook deli/food service items including sandwiches, salads, and hot/cold beverages.
• Take guest orders and ensure timely, satisfactory completion.
