Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Associate/Deli Clerk to manage deli operations, cash handling, and guest service. The role includes preparing, weighing, slicing, and stocking deli items, while ensuring sanitation and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities cover use of registers and scales, product labeling, order accuracy, and assisting in daily deli responsibilities with a focus on guest satisfaction. Applicants must be 16+ with flexibility for weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
• Flexibility to work weekend, holiday and evening shifts.
• Must have 2 years foodservice or retail management experience.
• Reliable transportation and an active driver's license.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Work in walk-in coolers and freezers.

Responsibilities

• Process cash register transactions and give back change/refunds.
• Operate register, scales, scanners and debit/credit terminals.
• Read UPC codes, product labels and store signage.
• Prepare, wrap, weigh, slice and stock deli/food service products.
• Prepare and cook deli items and beverages; manage hot/cold cases.
• Maintain cleanliness of the check stand and production areas.
• Take guest orders and ensure timely completion and satisfaction.
• Follow safety guidelines around knives, slicers, ovens, fryers and rotisseries.
• Support other locations as needed; perform additional duties from Store Manager.
