Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Associate/Deli Clerk to manage the deli and food service daily operations, ensuring sanitation, store appearance, and guest service. The role supports the store’s fresh foods, coordinates with team, and helps the store achieve its customer-first goals.

Responsibilities include operating the register, weighing and packaging items, maintaining correct pricing and signage, and upholding safety standards while preparing a variety of deli offerings.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
• Flexibility to work weekend, holiday and/or evening shifts.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Process cash register transactions, giving back change and refunds.
• Learn to use register, scales, scanners and debit/credit terminals.
• Read UPC codes, product labels, shelf signage, and posted policies.
• Prepare, wrap, weigh, slice, and stock deli/food service products.
• Assist in cooking deli items and maintaining cleanliness and safety.
• Take guest orders and ensure satisfaction.
