Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Fresh Foods Supervisor to direct and supervise all activities of the deli/food service department and its personnel. You will drive merchandising, sales and customer service goals, leveraging your 2+ years in food service management and a genuine love for food and customer care.

Qualifications

• Must have previous food service management experience (2 years minimum).
• Must truly have a love and passion for food and serving the customer.
• Experience directing a department and coaching staff is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directing department personnel to meet goals and communicate with store management.
• On-boarding and coaching all new team members.
• Scheduling all team members.
• Engaging with customers and providing product information and selling suggestions.
• Ensuring orders are completed on time and satisfy customers.
• Following all food safety and sanitation guidelines and policies.
• Maintaining stock levels and merchandising per standards.
• Overseeing deli/food service preparation and display.
• Rotating inventory and monitoring product quality and shrink.
