Job summary

Global Partners LP is hiring a Food Service Associate/Deli Clerk to manage daily deli and food service operations, ensuring sanitation, store appearance, and guest satisfaction. The role involves training in register use, food preparation, and merchandising while upholding safety standards.

Applicants should be at least 16, with flexibility for weekends/evenings. Prior foodservice or retail management experience is preferred, with Serv-Safe certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or retail; willingness to learn store systems.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must be at least 16 years old and flexible for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Process cash transactions and give correct change.
• Prepare, wrap, weigh, slice, and stock deli items and prepared foods.
• Maintain clean, organized deli area and ensure product quality and safety.
• Take guest orders and ensure timely, accurate fulfillment.
• Follow safety guidelines when using slicers, ovens, and burners.
