Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Associate/Deli Clerk to manage daily deli and food service operations while maintaining high sanitation and guest service standards. You will handle cash transactions, learn to operate registers and scales, and work with deli items, ensuring correct weights, pricing, and inventory.

The role requires weekend and evening flexibility, 2 years of foodservice or retail management, and a reliable way to commute.

Formación

• 16 years or older
• Weekend/holiday/evening shifts availability
• 2 years foodservice or retail management experience
• Reliable transportation and active driver's license
• Serv-safe certification preferred
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in coolers/freezers

Responsabilidades

• Process cash register transactions, give back change and refunds.
• Learn to use register, scales, scanners and debit/credit terminals.
• Learn UPC codes, store signage, and memorize register keys and codes.
• Read UPC codes, product labels, shelf signage, and posted policies.
• Handle deli ingredients, including meats, vegetables, spices, and oils.
• Ensure weights and pricing are correct with scale printers.
• Monitor pricing, signage, and shelf tagging.
• Keep check stand, counters, and production areas clean and orderly.
• Prepare, wrap, weigh, slice, and stock deli/food service products.
• Prepare and cook deli items, salads, sandwiches, beverages, and ready meals.
• Work safely around slicers, ovens, fryers, burners.
• Display products per guidelines and take guest orders on time.
• Other duties assigned by Store Manager.
