Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a deli department leader who will create an uplifting customer experience by delivering exceptional service and coaching associates. You will interview, train, and evaluate staff while upholding core values of respect, integrity, and safety across the department.

Based in a fast-paced retail environment, you will schedule Deli associates, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to food safety standards while driving department goals and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Effective communication and customer service proficiency.
• Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and math tasks.
• Ability to handle stressful situations in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Proven leadership and people-management capabilities.
• Flexibility in work schedule including peak periods.
• Completion of basic and supervisory skills training or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities
