Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Associate/ Deli Clerk to manage the deli and food service daily operations. You will process cash transactions, prepare and stock deli items, and ensure sanitation and guest satisfaction.

The role emphasizes safe food handling, accuracy with scales, and customer service in a retail environment. Applicants must be at least 16, with flexibility for weekends/evenings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Stand for long periods and work in coolers/freezers.

Responsibilities

• Process cash transactions and give back change.
• Learn to use register, scales, scanners and debit/credit terminals.
• Read UPC codes and product labels and follow signage.
• Prepare, wrap, weigh, slice, and stock deli/food service products.
• Maintain clean, neat check stand and production areas.
• Cook or prepare deli items and beverages as needed.
• Take guest orders and ensure timely completion.
