Job summary

Global Partners LP is hiring a Food Service Associate/Deli Clerk to manage daily deli and food service operations, ensure sanitation, and provide guest service. The role involves handling cash transactions, using registers, scales, and scanners, and preparing deli items on-site.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old and may require 2 years foodservice/retail management experience; Serv-Safe certification is preferred. Lifting up to 25 pounds and standing long hours are expected.

Responsibilities

• Process cash register transactions, giving back change and refunds.
• Learn to use register, scales, scanners and debit/credit terminals.
• Read UPC codes, product labels, shelf signage, and posted policies.
• Prepare, wrap, weigh, slice, and stock deli/food service products.
• Handle deli cooking including fried foods, salads, sandwiches, beverages, and prepared meals.
• Work safely around slicers, ovens, burners, and rotisseries.
• Take guest orders and ensure timely completion.
