Responsibilities

As a Deli Clerk, you will help customers make healthy food choices by preparing “fresh and easy meals” and providing excellent customer service. Your tasks include arranging vegetables or sliced meats for made-to-order sandwiches, assisting with catering orders, and maintaining food safety standards. Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience in grocery, restaurant, or related fields, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Dependable, reliable, and outgoing with a positive attitude.
• Able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and team participation ability.
• Capable of answering phones and taking special orders.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 70 lbs. for up to 4 hours and stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Perform general housekeeping and operate equipment safely.
• Adhere to safety, health, and regulatory standards; maintain a Food Handlers permit.
• Work in different temperature environments.
