Job summary

PCC Community Markets in Issaquah, WA is seeking a Barista Helper Clerk for the Drink Center and deli counters. You will deliver friendly, knowledgeable service with a focus on coffee, baked goods, and prepared foods. Duties include sanitation, product knowledge, and occasional counter service during hours of operation.

Applicants should have barista experience and strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A Washington Food Worker Card is required.

Main Job Responsibilities

• Provides excellent, professional customer service
• Demonstrates knowledge of deli products, especially coffee and smoothies

Qualifications And Skills

• Proven ability to perform excellent, professional customer service
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
• Barista experience preferred
• Able to work in a fast paced kitchen environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic math skills for measurement and scale functions
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to meet physical requirements of standing, twisting, bending, repetitive motion, and lifting 10-40lbs regularly
• A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required
