Job summary

PCC Community Markets is seeking Deli Helper Clerks at our Edmonds location to deliver excellent customer service at the deli counter and related stations. You will perform basic food prep, package deli items, and maintain cleanliness in the deli area.

Responsibilities include counter service, periodic barista support, and ensuring sanitation and safety standards across the department. This role supports a dynamic, community-focused grocer with strong values and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent, professional customer service.
• Able to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Previous food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of specialty and prepared foods preferred.
• Basic math skills for measurement and scale functions.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements of standing, twisting, bending, repetitive motion and lifting 10-40 lbs regularly.
• A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required.
