This role supports customer service and may assist in the Grocery department as needed. Workweek includes weekends; physical requirements apply. Starting wage is $21.55/hour.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service.

• Must be able to meet physical demands (standing, bending, lifting 10-40 lbs).
• Food Worker Card from WA Department of Health is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness and order throughout the store.
• General cleaning duties: sweeping, mopping, bathrooms, eating areas, trash, meat department cleaning.
• Responsible for cleaning refrigerated cases and other deep cleaning tasks as needed.
• Pressure washing shopping carts, baskets and outdoor areas.
• Other cleaning duties as needed.
• Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met.
• Stocks and faces grocery items as needed.
• Operates equipment per PCC standards.

Overview

Janitorial Helper Clerks Maintain order and cleanliness throughout the store, including sweeping and mopping, cleaning bathrooms, maintaining eating areas and taking out the trash. They do deep cleaning projects as needed and provide excellent, professional customer service. They may fill in in the Grocery department if assigned.
