Job summary

PCC Community Markets in Edmonds, WA is seeking a dishwasher to maintain clean dishes and equipment across the deli and service areas. You will help keep the kitchen and dining areas sanitary, organized, and safe while delivering friendly customer service.

Responsibilities include washing dishes, basic prep support, and occasional counter service. The role requires stamina for a busy kitchen and reliable teamwork in a Union shop environment.

Main Job Responsibilities

• Washing dishes, utensils, pots, pans and various other food preparation equipment used in the deli
• Cleaning the deli production areas and service areas
• Taking out the trash, sweeping, mopping, and wiping down equipment
• Counter and barista service when needed
• Basic food preparation, packaging, and labeling items when needed
• Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards are met

Qualifications And Skills

• Available to work the evening shift, including weekends
• Ability to work independently and be accountable to the deli team
• Must be able to work in a busy kitchen environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to meet physical requirements of standing, twisting, bending, repetitive motion and lifting 10-40lbs regularly
• A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required
