Job summary

PCC Community Markets in Seattle seeks a Grocery/Produce Helper Clerk to deliver friendly, professional service while stocking and rotating groceries, dairy, frozen and bulk items. You will help create appealing produce displays and maintain back-stock and sales floor organization.

The role requires flexibility for evenings/weekends, teamwork, and strong attention to detail, along with the ability to lift 10–40 lbs and maintain store cleanliness and safety. WA Food Worker Card is required.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service.
• Available to work evenings and weekends.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable with strong organization, accuracy and detail.
• Able to meet physical demands (standing, bending, twisting, lifting 10–40 lbs).
• Current Food Worker Card from WA Dept. of Health required.

Main Job Responsibilities

• Provides excellent, professional customer service
• Stocks and rotates all grocery, dairy, frozen and bulk products
• Faces grocery, dairy and frozen aisles
• Maintains organization and order of back-stock products
• Builds and maintains produce displays and rotates produce in back stock and sales floor

• Operates all equipment in accordance with PCC standards

• May bag groceries and provide carryout

• A vailable to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends

• A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required
