Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in store areas such as meat, bakery, produce and deli.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information.
• Ability to mentor team members in all areas.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and supervises team members in daily operations.
• Mentors and coaches the team to meet sales goals.
• Implements strategies to improve customer service and drive store sales.
• Maintains store appearance and compliance with company standards.
• Ensures staffing and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promotes safety and Meijer policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
