Responsibilities

• Manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager.
• Daily management of labor and coaching of associates to achieve productivity.
• Provide leadership and motivation within the store to promote Brand Strategy.
• Support the achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and create a positive shopping experience.
• Role model outstanding customer service and use product knowledge to meet customer needs.
• Control store expenses through proper ordering, care for supplies and equipment.
• Use company tools such as financial reports, ACIS, scheduling, productivity, and ordering.
• Ensure department appearance, food safety, and sanitation are maintained.
• Ensure Deli Bakery HMS schedules ensure extraordinary service.
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor shrink and coach associates to prevent losses.
