Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Deli Bakery HMS Supervisor to support store operations and leadership in Jamestown, NC. You will assist the Deli Manager, manage labor, coach associates, and promote our brand culture.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job function.
• Certified Food Safety Manager or will be required to attend training within first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager and supervise HMS Associates.
• Daily management of labor and coaching of associates to meet productivity targets.
• Provide leadership to promote a culture reflecting the Brand Strategy and Culture.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Deliver fast, friendly customer service and create a positive shopping experience.
