Job summary

Meijer is seeking a team member to enhance the customer experience across our Michigan stores. You will assist with daily tasks, collaborate with peers, and participate in training to uphold Meijer standards.

The role emphasizes guest service, product organization, and safe, efficient store operations in a busy retail environment. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, along with a commitment to inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Mentoring and coaching other team members to meet or exceed sales goals and Meijer standards.
• Supports training new team members and cross-training high potential talent.
• Assists leadership in department scheduling to boost engagement and store profitability.
• Monitors product freshness and rotation, ensuring compliance with policies.
• Leads ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing, and product display where applicable.
• Fosters an inclusive Meijer culture and safe work practices.
