Qualifications

• Retail or other customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to mentor and coach teammates to meet sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers to provide the best shopping experience, including checkout.
• Communicate with team members and assign daily tasks.
• Mentor and coach teammates to exceed customer service and sales goals.
• Support training of new team members and cross-training where needed.
• Assist with department scheduling to improve engagement and profitability.
• Ensure product freshness and proper rotation and dating policies.
• Guide safety, compliance, and execution of store standards.
• Lead ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing, and display where applicable.
• Foster an inclusive Meijer culture and collaborate with leadership.
• Operate a register and cash handling when required, including powered equipment.
