Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques.
• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job function.
• Accreditation as Certified Food Safety Manager within 90 days or training provided.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Deli Bakery HMS department in the absence of the Deli Manager.
• Manage daily labor and coach associates to meet productivity goals.
• Provide leadership to promote Brand Strategy and culture.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Ensure excellent customer service and positive shopping experience.
• Maintain department appearance, safety, sanitation and compliance with regulations.
• Control expenses through proper ordering and use of supplies.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, display and inventory practices are compliant.
• Complete required CBT and training through company programs.
