Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Deli Bakery HMS Associate to support store operations and drive sales while maintaining food safety and quality standards.

You will supervise the HMS department in the absence of the Deli Manager, manage labor, coach staff, and uphold the brand culture through outstanding customer service. Eligibility includes a high school diploma and food safety certification, with training provided for accreditation within the first 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or similar to be a Certified Food Safety Manager; accreditation within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily labor and coach associates for productivity.
