Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a Full Time Deli Bakery Management Assistant in Purcellville, VA. You will assist to manage and supervise up to 80 associates in the Fresh Foods Department and support the Department Manager with overall direction and evaluation.

Key duties include interviewing and training associates, planning and directing work, and appraising performance while addressing complaints. You will help maintain safety, quality standards, and customer service excellence in a fast-paced store

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 years related experience.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to complete required training and work with the team.
• Experience in training or supervising is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist to manage and supervise up to 80 associates in Fresh Foods.
• Assist the Department Manager with overall direction and evaluation.
