Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a Full Time Deli Bakery Management Assistant in Bristow, VA to assist in managing up to 80 associates in the Fresh Foods Department. You will support the Department Manager with direction, coordination and evaluation of this department, ensuring adherence to Harris Teeter policies and standards.

You will interview and train associates, plan and direct work, and assist in performance appraisal and conflict resolution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 years related experience.
• Commitment to unparalleled customer service; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in and successfully complete required training and to work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of baker/fryer, cake decorator, fresh foods clerk, and chef as needed.
