GF Buche Co is seeking a Deli & Bakery Department Manager to lead our fresh departments, delivering exceptional quality, presentation, and service to customers. You will oversee daily deli and bakery operations, guide and develop the team, manage inventory and merchandising, and ensure food safety standards to drive department profitability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Grocery, deli, bakery, food service, or retail management experience preferred.
• Food safety certification (ServSafe® or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the deli and bakery team.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Delegate daily responsibilities and ensure operational standards are met.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment aligned with Core Values.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist with product selection and special orders.
• Oversee food preparation, inventory, rotation, and merchandising in deli and bakery.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
