Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a store leadership role responsible for staffing, service, and sales execution across departments. You will mentor team members, drive customer satisfaction, and manage scheduling, training, and development.

With 2–3 years in retail and at least 1 year in a supervisory role, you will help optimize performance, ensure store standards, and lead a safe, welcoming shopping environment for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Experience rotating through store areas is helpful.
• Ability to communicate clearly and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members.
• Responsible for staffing, selection and hiring to achieve staffing needs.
• Promotes succession planning by providing career paths and promotion decisions.
• Documents and applies disciplinary actions and makes recommendations concerning discharge.
• Responsible for P&L, achieving sales and maintaining shrink for the department.
• Model exceptional, fast and friendly customer service.
• Mentors and coaches team members to meet sales goals and standards.
• Spends majority of time within the store communicating with customers and team members.
