La Montañita Food Cooperative is seeking a Deli Cook to provide consistent, exceptional customer service while preparing bakery products and deli items. The role includes maintaining a clean, appealing department and greeting customers to ensure a welcoming store experience.

You will handle labeling, packaging, and pricing in accordance with department guidelines, assist with inventory, and support overall store cleanliness and safety.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED.
• Customer service skills (full customer service cycle).
• Effective communication skills.
• Food safety certification; if not certified, able to obtain within 1 month.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition and subtraction).
• Adhere to safety, regulatory and wellness guidelines; PPE required.

Responsabilidades

• Follows department guidelines for labeling, dating, and packaging for display and buffets.
• Serves case items with proper pricing, packaging, and weighing as needed.
• Orders, receives, and merchandises products following merchandising and safety standards.
• Replenishes products to ensure freshness and visibility.
• Maintains attractive signage and helps customers with product selections.
• Ensures sanitary processing and accurate pricing according to procedures.
• Supports inventory counts, storewide cleaning, and other projects as needed.
• Complies with safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions to management.
