Job summary

The NOTC Clerk at Stater Bros. Markets is responsible for delivering G.O.A.T. (Greet, Observe, Assist, Thank) service to customers in the Service Deli and Bakery departments.

You will prepare deli and bakery items, maintain quality and presentation, follow food safety standards, and help create a positive shopping experience with prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service. Graveyard shift duties include stocking and preparing displays for the next day.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma is preferred but not required.
• A valid Food Handler / Health Card (for fresh departments).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Friendly, helpful attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction and service at all times.

Responsibilities

• G.O.A.T service: Greet, Observe, Assist, Thank customers.
• Prepare deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and hot case offerings.
• Slice, weigh, package, and label deli meats and prepared foods.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise service deli products for freshness and appeal.
• Maintain sanitary work areas and follow safety regulations.
