Job summary

Military Deli and Bakery Services operates at Maxwell AFB, AL, offering a part-time Deli Bakery Associate role with up to 29 hours per week. The position runs 8am–8pm with immediate hiring and customer-service driven duties in a deli/bakery environment.

Responsibilities include slicing meats/cheeses, preparing party trays, stocking displays, and maintaining sanitation. Candidates should be18+, able to lift 50 lbs, and willing to cross-train in bakery tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Willing to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks as needed.
• Effective and friendly communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math and the ability to follow written guidelines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift.
• Tolerates working in freezers for up to 20 minutes at a time.
• Team player.
• Grocery, food service or retail experience a plus!
• Some weekend shifts are required

As a Deli Bakery Associate at Military Deli & Bakery Services you will have the opportunity to serve our nation’s Military personnel and their families at one of our 103 US Military Commissary locations.
