Job summary

Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace is hiring a Deli Associate for our Bloomfield Hills location. You will slice, weigh, package and label deli meats and cheeses, assist customers, and maintain attractive displays while delivering friendly service.

Flexibility to work weekends and a high school diploma or GED (preferred) are recommended. Reliable transportation and the ability to work in a cool environment are required. Training and opportunities for advancement are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Reliable transportation needed.
• Weekend availability required.
• Must be able to use knives and slicers (18+).

Responsibilities

• Slice, weigh, package and label deli meats and cheeses per customer request.
• Assist customers with orders and answer questions about deli products.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Operate slicers and other equipment per safety guidelines.
• Maintain neat, stocked display and knowledge of product varieties and prices.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, weights and measures policies and report issues.
